This is a site specific installation done as part of a final project while attending the Interactive Telecommunication Program Summer Camp 2019. Teaming up with a fellow camper – Rudi Renoir (rrenoir.com) the idea was to create tape art on a wall and experimenting with a projection mapping overlay.
After creating the design for the tape art it was projected to give the guidelines for the taping. Using Madmapper we created sections for the projections and experimented with various animations, ultimately creating a short movie loop. The installation was set up in the lounge area of the floor accessible to everyone and frequented most often, seeing how people respond and interact with it and how it integrates itself with the space.
